Dog Walking

Daily dog walks, weekly dog walking, and even “once in a blue moon” dog walking services are available to our clients in New Jersey’s Gold Coast region (Hoboken, Edgewater, Fort Lee, Weehawken, Jersey City, and Leonia). Rest assured that we never walk more than two dogs simultaneously, so your pet will get the attention that s/he deserves!

Group Doggy Play Dates

One of our most sought-after services! Your pup will be picked up at your home in Hoboken, Jersey City, Weehawken, Edgewater, Fort Lee, or North Bergen and safely transported (in crate) to a fenced-in local area dog park for supervised play with other friendly and sociable canines. Multiple Marching Mutts employees will be on hand to monitor your pet(s), facilitate play, and distribute water and treats. And, the best part is, you will be emailed a photo montage (check out the video gallery on our homepage for an example) of the specific play date set to music after the event is over so you can see exactly how much fun your little critter had! Play dates currently run 1-2 times per week dependent on our schedules, so please inquire as to the next available time slot if interested! And as an added bonus, our very own Sergeant Sydney and Captain Sully are often in attendance to “egg on” the other furry participants!

Cat Sitting

One of our bonded and insured professionals will stop over to feed and water your kitty, change the litter box, and deliver some good old-fashioned TLC

Vacation Pet Care

Going away? Marching Mutts offers vacation pet care services and can set up a schedule to provide the custom number of visits and exact type of care that each of your pets needs. We also offer overnight pet sitting.

Pet Transportation Services

We will be happy to play chauffeur for your dog or cat if they need to be transported to a vet, groomer, friend’s house, etc.

Dog Day Care

Play Dates With The Mascot – The only thing that Sergeant Sydney loves more than playing with her owners is playing with other dogs! If your dog needs some exercise or is just looking to have a good time, consider booking a dog play date today!

Concierge/ Shopping Service: Marching Mutts will now take your own custom pet shopping list to Pet Smart on the first Tuesday of each month! Work and social lives can be busy – let us get the items your pet needs and deliver them to your home. $20 per client!

Our Process

After booking a dog walking or pet sitting appointment, but prior to your first service being delivered, Marching Mutts will set a “meet and greet” appointment for introductions and contract signing.

We only deliver services once contracts are fully executed by a pet’s owner.

The contract includes an info sheet that will contain valuable items such as emergency and vet contact information, your pet’s disposition towards other animals and humans, and any special accommodations that need to be made while we are delivering dog walking or pet sitting services.

Keys are generally exchanged at this meeting as well, but if you live in a full-service building, feel free to leave with the doorman or concierge as well – just be sure to let him or her know that those keys are to be accessible to your dog walker
