Hi – I’m Maria. I founded Marching Mutts to provide busy local professionals in Hoboken and the surrounding area with reliable, caring, and affordable dog walking, pet sitting, and pet transportation services of the caliber I’d expect for my own Boston Terrier, Sydney.

I have learned first hand through my six years of experience in NYC’s fast-paced world of sales just how time consuming and unpredictable the average work week can be. Early morning departures, business trips, and last-minute client dinners often result in emotional wear and tear on the pets we love and physical wear and tear on our carpets and furniture!

Who better to know what would satisfy a potential target market than those who ARE that very market? My husband and I love our pets with all of our hearts – they are literally our family. But, we also go on vacations, enjoy nights on the town, and regularly encounter the last-minute schedule changes that can make pet ownership a challenge. It is to help solve this problem, and under the following banner, that our company was formed:

“Marching Mutts dog walking and pet concierge – where high-touch service and cutting-edge technology meet good old fashioned TLC.”

As the owner and founder of this northern New Jersey dog walking and pet sitting business, I vow to my customers and potential customers that I will love and treat their pets as my own. I vow the utmost level of professionalism and reliability (that should be expected of any service provider). And, I vow to acknowledge the fact that we live in the 21st century! Thus, we will continue to develop cutting-edge web-driven technologies that I hope will revolutionize the dog walking and pet sitting industry.

We will utilize our web presence as a vehicle for communication with current and potential walking and sitting clients in Hoboken, Edgewater, Fort Lee, Weehawken, Jersey City, and Leonia, as well as animal lovers in general. The site will be regularly updated with testimonials from REAL clients, fun pet photos and videos, blog posts about the day’s activities, and other pet-related content.
